1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dog Grooming Near Me platform at doggroomingnearme.co.uk ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Listing Accuracy & Responsibility
Business owners who create or claim listings are solely responsible for the accuracy of information provided, including:
- Business name, address, and contact details
- Service descriptions and pricing
- Photos (must be of the actual business)
- Opening hours
Dog Grooming Near Me does not verify the accuracy of listing content and accepts no liability for errors or misleading information. Businesses agree not to post false, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
3. Free Listings
Free listings are provided at no charge and subject to our review process. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion, including for quality, relevance, or spam reasons. Free listings receive standard placement in search results.
4. Premium Subscription
The Premium plan is a recurring monthly subscription at £29 per month (inclusive of VAT where applicable). Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Premium features are active while your subscription status is "Active".
Failure to maintain payment will result in Premium features being suspended and your listing reverting to the Free plan. Your listing will remain visible to the public.
5. Refund Policy
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the start of your first paid subscription. To request a refund within this period, contact support@doggroomingnearme.co.uk.
After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable for partial months. You may cancel at any time and retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period.
6. Prohibited Content
You must not use the Platform to:
- List businesses that are not genuine dog grooming services
- Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
- Upload photos of other businesses or third-party stock images as your own
- Engage in spam, scraping, or automated misuse of the Platform
- Violate any applicable UK law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
7. Intellectual Property
The Platform's design, code, and content (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by Dog Grooming Near Me. By submitting content (photos, descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of providing the directory service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Dog Grooming Near Me is a directory platform only. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of grooming services provided by listed businesses
- Disputes between dog owners and groomers
- Loss or damage arising from reliance on listing information
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
